This week's project comes from a team of two, Zach and Hilary. This is allowed! There really aren't any secret project rules. To verify this and other facts about the secret project process, click here.
One detail about Zach: Zach is a CCA MFA design student. To verify this and other facts about Zach, check out http://www.via-hologram.com
One detail about Hilary: Hilary is from Ballard, Washington but has never been to Carta de Oaxaca, which is very alarming, but easily remedied the next time Hilary and Zach go home to Ballard to visit.
These two will both be receiving secret project prizes, because as I explained to Zach, I offer equal prizes for equal work. Of course I don't really know if they worked on this project equally, but I will assume they did because there is really no possible way of knowing if Zach let his lady do all the work, or if Hilary let her fellow do all the work. It is ok, because I don't make my Intern do fact-checking on secret projects, and because this recipe is delicious and secretive, which are two rarely combined qualities, and I like that.
PS- as an added bonus, H&Z shared a piece of their duwamish mubar with me, and I can happily confirm, they are as ridiculously good as they seem. Here is proof:

I would like some of this cake right now. I don't have any jimmies though. Dammit.
Also, where is Zach from that he calls them "jimmies" b/c he can't be from the West Coast!

don't post delicious things when i am so hungry!
Those mudbars look really delicious. But um, how much water is supposed to go into the cake? It's not listed on the recipe. Thanks!
Karen
ha! I think these mud bars are best enjoyed with a tall glass of river water.
